Inserting SmartParts within a SmartPart

You can insert SmartParts within a SmartPart. This enables you build a document from several standard text blocks.

Follow these steps to do this:

1. Press Ctrl+F9 to create a field (If the field isn't immediately visible, press Alt+F9)
2. In the field enter the following text DB:SmartPart<space>libraryname.smartpartname

Example

{ DB:SmartPart Proposals.Conditions of Sale }

This inserts the SmartPart Conditions of Sale from the library Proposals at the current position.

Note By default a blank line is inserted before and after SmartParts that are inserted this way.

Note 2 If the SmartPart contains a dialog with variables, this will not be shown.
