Using translations in the input screens (dialogs)

Modified on Mon, 23 Nov, 2020 at 10:38 AM

If you create an input screen in Word with variables, you can use the translation list for the labels. This allows you to create multilingual input screens.

Follow these steps to use the translations:

  1. Open the SmartPart or the template from the side panel in Word.
  2. Select the desired variable.
  3. In the Display name (on tab Dialog) field enter the name of the translation. Use the following format: @\category\Group(optional)\translation name. In the example below the translation CustomerName can be found in the category Dialog. This translation is not in a separate group.
  4. Make sure the Place on dialog? (on tab General) option is activated and click on Save.
