Creating or modifying an Outlook signature

Modified on Thu, 19 Nov, 2020 at 11:32 AM

A project may contain any number of e-mail signatures. These signatures are managed via the web portal of your subscription. In the web browser, open the web portal of your organisation with:

<subscription>.eformity.net - for example: blueorange.eformity.net

Log in with your account details.

To open the e-mail signature, follow these steps:

  1. Open the main pace in your browser and click on the three dashes in the top lteftcorner. (Creating user accounts in eformity.net)
  2. Click on Configuration
  3. Click on Email settings and after that on Signatures.

Note Before adding a new signature, it is advisable to first create a Theme. The theme contains the font, font color and font size. For more information on creating a theme, please click here.

  1. Click on Add to create a new signature or select an existing signature and click Edit.
  2. Enter the name for the signature, e.g. Default.
  3. Indicate whether the signature should be Visible to the user. If this box isn't checked, the user will not be able to select this signature. In that case, the system will automatically use the signature, in the situations that you have indicated.
  4. Select the signature that should be used for reply e-mails. This could be a shorter version of the signature, for example. (If you haven't added any signatures yet, this list will be empty).
  5. Choose the Theme for the signature (see above)
  6. Click on Create. The signature is now added to the list of signatures. If you like, you can now add images and variations before continuing with the HTML for the signature.

The next step after having created the signature, is to create the layout and content you for the signature, using HTML. For more information, see Creating an Outlook signature
