Follow these steps to insert a translation in a template:

  1. Open the document or SmartPart from the side panel in Word with the option Edit.
  2. Click on the Translations tab in the side panel.
  3. Place the cursor in the document where you want the translation added.
  4. Double click on the desired translation in the side panel.


NoteĀ If the translation does not show up in the finished product, this may be due to a switch in the field code, such as MERGEFORMAT. To check whether this is the case, go back to the translation field in the original template or SmartPart and hold down Alt+F9 to make the field code visible. Remove any switches (e.g. \* MERGEFORMAT):
